Support services
You may face some challenges or difficulties while you are a student but no matter what kind of issue you are dealing with, there is always a listening ear or someone who can help.
A good place to start is our Residential Services Team. The Residential Services Team manage all aspects of halls of Residences, from cleaning and maintenance to receptions and facilities.
Their main responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and information on all accommodation matters.
- Providing support to individuals and groups in the event of any emergency or problem.
- Signposting services and support which you may need during your time in halls.
- Managing the halls environment and estate.
- Ensuring halls maintenance requests are dealt with efficiently and appropriately.
- Providing information and advice on halls services and facilities, and how you can use and book these where required
Another team at Southampton who can provide support is the Student Hub. The Student Hub is your first point of contact for questions and concerns relating to fees, financial support, accommodation, wellbeing, disability, careers and course administration.
They are available 24/7 and no issue is too big or small.
