How does laundry work?
Laundry costs are included in the hall fees and will be free to use at the point of access.
The laundry machines also auto-dose your detergent, which means you don't need to provide your own detergent. Although we do have designated machines which can be used with your own detergent if required (for example, for a medical reason or skin condition).

Can I smoke in my accommodation?
Smoking is not permitted in or immediately outside any buildings at Highfield Hall.

Various bins are provided for different types of waste disposal:
- Purple bin — all general waste
- Green bin — all recycling including glass
- Brown bin — all food waste
In the bin compounds, you will also find bins for waste electrical items and charity donation points.
